1. Can I order separate pieces?

All components of the cake support system are available individually as well as in convenient groupings.

2. How do I know what size legs to order?

Consider the height of cake you generally produce and whether you want the next layer to be slightly imbedded in the previous layer or setting above the layer. If you generally bake two 2-inch layer cakes, your finished product is about a 4-inch cake. If it is slightly shorter than 4 inches, and you use a 4 inch leg, your second layer of cake will sit slightly above the icing. If you want the second layer to be “nestled in” on the lower layer, you would use 3 ½ inch legs and adjust them appropriately. A 3 ½ inch leg can extend to accommodate a 4 ¼ inch cake.

3. How long will it take for me to get my order?

All packages are mailed via priority mail. Orders are generally shipped within 24 hours of receiving the completed order, and you should receive them in 2-4 business days.

4. Do I need to use any special plates with your cake supports?

No, any flat plate will work fine. We do sell acrylic plates that are extremely durable and machine washable. When you use the plates you can be assured that your cake will not sink in the middle or around the edges. It’s just one more step in building a more stress free cake.

5. How do I clean my cake support system?

All components of the product are dishwasher safe. Simple unscrew the legs slightly from the base disc and run through the dishwasher. Then with only minor leg height adjustments, the support is ready to put in your next cake.

6. My biggest concern is that I will not get the cake supports back when I deliver a cake. What do I do to insure that I don’t loose my investment?

We suggest making a list of all items used and charging a deposit sufficient to cover any items that are not returned. The cake supports are rarely disassembled when the cake is served, so generally there is little danger of loosing the small pieces.
